Subject: OH Residents Response

Attached are 5 documents that incorporate Oak Hammock Residents’ response to the Board of Directors’ request of April 7, 2015 for comments on the Board action that would establish for Oak Hammock “a visible corporate philanthropy program to benefit the Community of Gainesville … and … to fund the program with an initial annual contribution of $50,000, with the goal of a gradual annual increase to $200,000.”

The first document contains two (2) sections: The Resident Response to the Board (pg 1-4) and An Oak Hammock 2014 Outreach Report (pg 5 that is the result of a survey of Oak Hammock Member’s Donations and Volunteer Service).

The 2014 Outreach Report section refers to four (4) appendices (A,B,C,D) that are attached as separate documents. (sidebar: I am a bit astounded at the outpouring of responses that we got. When about 85% — 210 out of approximately 250 IL members who are active, participated – that’s nothing short of terrific.)

Since I do not have all of the emails address of the Social Responsibility (aka Community Outreach) committee or the whole board, please distribute this report to them as is appropriate.
