Golf for Oak Hammock residents is easily available either by joining one of the two private clubs, Gainesville Country Club or Haile Plantation golf club (presently about 12 members have joined), or playing at the three Gainesville municipal semi-private courses: Ironwood, University course, or Meadowbrook Golf Club.
